Hyper Dash Extreme is just like the original Hyper Dash that we all loved so much, except it’s more EXTREME! Okay, seriously this is a fun game. Players basically have to run around and tag objects as fast as they can, but there are some added bits of game play. Sometimes they have to do some quick math calculations before they can make a tag, sometimes the targets fly out of the controller in a random direction, adding to the fun!

We featured the Batik game last week, and then found the new version for younger children, called Batik Kid. It works just like regular Batik, but the shapes are fun undersea creatures. It looks like a great game for those 4 and up.

Simple games are often the best games, and Batik is a prime example of this. To play Batik, two players draw geometrically shaped wooden pieces from a pile, then take turns placing them vertically into a game board. The pieces stack into the clear board, and the first player whose piece sticks out above the board loses. It’s great for learning spatial reasoning and geometry, and it’s fun and challenging for all ages!
